How does payment work?
Secure checkout via Stripe. Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link supported. Stripe emails a receipt right after the transaction. Card details never touch our servers.
Where does my support go?
After Stripe processing fees (~3%), 100% funds hosting and development — the catalog runs on ~$50/mo today. Sponsorship keeps it that way and eventually funds a second maintainer so it’s not a one-person bet.
Can I cancel a monthly sponsorship anytime?
Yes. Open the Stripe billing portal link in your receipt email and cancel in one click. No retention flow, no email required.
Will my name appear on the sponsor wall?
Only if you opt in. At Stripe Checkout you’ll see two extra fields — a name (or alias) to display, and a yes/no dropdown for whether to list you publicly. Pick "no" to stay anonymous; you’ll still count toward the anonymous-sponsor total.
Is this tax-deductible?
Personal sponsorships are not tax-deductible as charitable donations. Businesses can typically deduct sponsorships as a business expense — Stripe sends a receipt suitable for accounting. Consult your tax advisor.
Are the tools really private?
Yes. Every tool runs in your browser via WebAssembly — nothing leaves your device. Open dev tools and watch the network tab while you use a tool. Sponsorship doesn’t change that.
Can my company pay by invoice or purchase order?
Yes — email sponsor@lofttools.com with the amount and PO number. We’ll send a Stripe invoice referencing it.
